NO CNA CLASSES ARE SCHEDULED FOR 2010.  We are NOT accepting applications at this time.



We DO NOT offer On-line CNA classes.  Please read entire page before submitting an application.

Class Information:

  • This is NOT an on-line class. 
  • Class material is covered in a classroom setting.
  • Total class time is 2 weeks or a total of 75 clock hours
  • Class time is 6:30am - 6:30pm, Monday - Friday.
  • Exact schedule confirmed on the first day of class.
  • Attendance for each day and being punctual is mandatory.
  • You are not allowed to miss even one day.
  • NO CHARGE for the class or text book.
  • Text book must be returned at the end of the class.
  • CPR is recommended but not mandatory.
  • CPR will be availabe for $25 if employed by NHC.
  • You are not an employee while in the class.
  • You do not get paid while taking the class.
  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Criminal background check is required prior to class.
  • Acceptance to class determined by: application, interview, & suitability.

                   You have 3 options for application to the class:

1.  Click the On-line CNA Class Application button on the left of this page.  This form will allow you to submit the application electronically.*
2.  Download and print the application with Adobe Reader by clicking this link:  CNA Class Application.  Print and complete the paper application.  Bring the application to the facility and submit it to the business office or fax to 423-282-5245.
3.  Come to the facility and request an application from the business office.

* It is not recommended that you enter your social security number in the on-line form, as it is submitted via email and is not encrypted.  It will be asked for during the interview process and is required to initiate the background check process.

Our CNA training class is fully approved by the State of Tennessee.  On successful completion of the class, the student is eligible to take the State certification exam, which is not administered by NHC.  For more information about Tennessee's testing procedures, go to: D & S Diversified Technologies.
